Barnes PRCA Rodeo adds Sangamon County Fair, June 13

June rodeo run, nine events across five states
The Sangamon County Fair held in New Berlin, Ill. will host for the first time Barnes PRCA Rodeo on June 13, 2018.  The rodeo sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) will be held the second night of the fair's six day run.

Sixty-eight years ago, Barnes PRCA Rodeo was founded with the guiding principles of integrity and hard work.  Today the second and third generations of Barnes family handle the day-to-day operations on the ranch and provide for the health and welfare of 165 bucking horses and 70 bulls.  The longevity of Barnes PRCA Rodeo is captured in the marketplace across the Midwest where community celebrations dating back 40, 50 and 60 years are continuous partners.

The month of June will be extremely busy for the Barnes family as they produce nine events across five states.  The 52nd Cherokee PRCA Rodeo in Cherokee, Iowa begins the run May 31 - June 2 followed by dual rodeos the next weekend with the 29th Wisconsin River Pro Rodeo in Merrill, Wis. June 8-10 and the 59th American Heroes PRCA Rodeo in Hawley, Minn. June 8-9. The crew will then head to New Bern, Ill for the Wednesday, June 13 performance.  Two days later they travel to Glenwood City, Wis. for the St. Croix Valley PRCA Rodeo June 15-16.  The month ends with Minnesota's oldest PRCA the 64th Buffalo PRCA Championship Rodeo in Buffalo, Minn. June 22-23 and the 50th Days of 56 Rodeo in Ponca, Neb. June 22-23.
