The 49th Ponca Rodeo dubbed the Days of '56 returns with two performances on Friday June 23rd and Saturday June 24th. The athletic talent of our bucking horses, bulls and saddle horses is award winning. Each performance features the seven standard rodeo events: bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, barrel racing, and bull riding. With world-class roughstock and western entertainment invite your friends and family to attend.

The excitement and energy of our Barnes PRCA Rodeo during the annual rodeo is great family entertainment.  Rodeo fans experience America's original sport at its best.  Rodeo is one of the fastest growing spectator sports in the country. The popularity of the sport has as strong sense of tradition and value.

In addition to the animal athletes and rodeo contestants  - the national acclaimed Team Ghost Riders will perform each night.

Tim Lepard "The Wild Thang" and his Team Ghost Riders are comprised of border collies, white-throated capuchins monkeys and a flock of sheep. They travel the country performing at NFL halftime shows (Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts, Cincinnati Bengals), NBA games for the Indiana Pacers and on television shows with Steve Harvey, David Letterman, Jay Leno, A&E and ESPN plus tons of minor league baseball stadiums.

America's number one #Teamghostriders  and #cowboymonkeyrodeo include Tim and his wife Rhonda along with the capuchins monkeys named Maglynn, Sam, Little E (named after Elvis) and Bubba. The border collie dogs on tour are JD (named after 1995 PRCA World Champion Bullrider Jerome Davis), Ban (aka Bandit the red border collie), Ned, Tex and Jed. Lepard has won numerous PRCA awards including the First Frontier, Badlands and Southeast Circuit finals clown and barrelman buckles for his showmanship.

Patriotism is at the core of Barnes PRCA Rodeo productions.  The Iowa-based stock contracting company is known for paying respect to the United States Armed Forces during their rodeo performances.  American flags flown over the bucking chutes and during the grand entry are signature elements at Barnes PRCA Rodeos across the country.
